Top 5 vacations of all time (growing up)

1- Cincinnati- This one wins by a landslide. We loaded up that Astro Van, made the whole back seat a bed (not gonna fly these days) and had a CD player with Collin Raye playing a good portion of the trip. As long as it was not Barbara Streisand, it could have been anything.

So, if memory serves, the passengers were: Mom, Dad, Me, Valarie, Marie, Becky, Ryan, and Colette. Milo was in the pre-existence or I am sure he would have been along for the ride. If I left you out, I am sorry, I am going off of a memory from being 9 years old at the time. A few items to remember:

1- A deck of cards
2- A blanket
3- A mug

The deck of cards, were "bomb" trading cards. The blanket was where I took cover after igniting the bomb, and the mug was the instrument I was repeatedly struck with over a 3 day period. I will let you fill in the blanks because if you were on that trip, you know exactly what I am talking about.

I remember pulling up to Stef and Cordale's house and Cameron was sucking his fingers while him and Preston were looking out the window. I remember the layout of the house, in particular, the upstairs was pretty cool. We caught fireflies at night. The highlight for me was the Reds/Dodgers game we went to. I bought every item offered in the stadium and puked my guts out when we got back to Stef and Cordale's house. Also, I have to mention White Castle, and Nauvoo. Great trip overall. I almost forgot the water park we went to and Discovery Zone.

2-Yellowstone- I consider Yellowstone my second home. The wooden guns I used to get as a kid were always cool. The ice cream up there was bomb. The Roger Beaman stories, take your pick. I love that place. Hitting the buffalo was crazy too.

3- Grandaddy Lake- Another second home. I love that place. The time that sticks out to me the most is getting into it with the campers above us. Dad, Ryan and I were just getting into camp when they yelled some obscenities down to us. I returned the favor and was on my way up there with a BB gun, but was restrained. I can tell you the things they yelled to us that pissed me off so bad, so if you want to know, ask me about it, but it is foul enough that I won't post it on here.

4-Disneyland- We ate at Coco's restaurant every morning. Neri was doing some synchronized swimming, or whatever the hell you even wanna call that. He was doing the splits on the side of the pool. He was also swimming and breathing in a weird manner. Shelly and the girls started imitating him, that was good times.

5-Disneyworld- Ryan and I went with mom and dad to Kissimmee. We stayed in a home instead of a hotel. The pool in the back rivaled shrink lake. It was cold. We hit up some good restaurants there and went to an Orlando Magic game. The fruit was superb in Florida.
